Deputy Director, Coalition for Rainforest Nations, USA
Ms. Federica Bietta is the Deputy Director of the Coalition for Rainforest Nations, an intergovernmental initiative involving over 30 nations that seeks to better align market incentives with sustainable outcomes related to tropical forests in developing nations (www. RainforestCoalition.org).
Ms. Bietta is also Director of Finance and Administration at the Columbia Business School. She also acts as a liaison between the developing and European countries involved in the United Nations climate change process.
Ms. Bietta's corporate experience relates to corporate banking and investment banking. She has worked with a leading European Bank in the US market following major relationships with Fortune 500 US Corporation such as: Tyco, General Electric, ADP, AIG, IBM, etc.
Ms. Bietta was raised in Italy. She has earned a Bachelor degree in "Economics & Finance" at the University of Perugia. She augmented her Finance studies in Brussels along with strategic management studies at Cal State Hayward. She has a Masters of Business Administration from both Columbia Business School and the London Business School.
