Opening ceremony

Premier of Quebec Jean Charest, together with Thierry Vandal, CEO of Hydro-Quebec have launched the opening ceremony of the conference.

The guest of honour, Sheila Watt Cloutier, Inuit activist nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, delivered in a keynote speech her thoughts and reflexions on the human dimensions of climate change.
