Sometimes a decision maker may prefer to see results in terms of YOLL (years of life lost) rather than costs in order to make risk-risk comparisons which avoid the uncertainties of monetary valuation. Table 4 indicates the contribution of the dominant health risks to the damage costs in Fig.5. With that it is straightforward to convert the numbers of Fig.5 to YOLL, cancers or IQ decrement, as shown in Table 4.
