An integrated vision of the services of Veolia Environnement
Houses and apartments with their own flows of wastewater, refuse and energy would seem to be true microcosms of the city. One might envisage dwellings or groups of dwellings using §1 localised or individualised energy production centres, recycling their wastewater and organic refuse in order to use them in situ.
The services provided by Veolia Environnement within dispersed living environments will thus evolve, and they could, for example, become more like maintenance services for the various individual or semi-collective installations that will be found within each dwelling or group of dwellings. The company could therefore consider pooling its services in the different activities. Synergy efforts within each main area would be required, as has been the case for services to businesses.
